Welcome to the website of the Aer Lingus Badminton Club. Our club was established in 1965 and now meets at the Alsaa Hall each Monday and Thursday from 8pm to 11pm. Although the badminton season runs from September to June our club runs all year round.

We unfortunately do not have the facilities to train beginners and suggest you contact Baldoyle Badminton for beginners lessons. To Apply for Membership you must have previous playing experience and knowledge of the rules of badminton.

Your fee of €150 includes use of the badminton courts on club nights (Monday and Thursday) throughout the year, Free Schuttles, entry fee to the B.U.I. and Insurance.

Our Facilities

Senior Badminton:

Meet every Monday and Thursday from 8pm to 11pm with six courts. Membership confined to 80 to ensure you get plenty of games on any given night.

Junior Badminton:

Training sessions are run most Saturday mornings in the main hall, from 11am - 1pm. The Junior Club currently has capacity to take on a limited number of new members. Contact the Secretary, John Drinane on 087 2560916 for membership details.

Summer Club

We unfortunately are not in a position to provide facilities for a Summer Club as there is an issue with providing insurance cover. Only paid up members of Aer Lingus Badminton Club can play throughout the summer months and unfortunately cannot invite guests.
