Foundation of the Club.
The Aer Lingus Badminton Club was setup in 1965/66 with approximately 32 members. The club at that time played at Whitehall Road and Quakers Hall, Rathfarnham. They moved to the old Aer Lingus Gym in 1970 where they had two courts and competed at a high standard in the Dublin District League and Cup.

Aer Lingus won the A.S.K.A. cup in 1972. In 1985 the club moved to its present location at the ALSAA Sports Centre.
