Welcome
On behalf of Aer Lingus and Air Canada we would like to offer “A Cead Mile Failte” to our overseas Badminton Friends. Every effort has been made to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. Over the weekend we hope you will play and enjoy some competitive Badminton and even more hours of not so competitive socialising. Please let us know if we can help make your stay more enjoyable.

Friday 21st September 2007
Throughout the day Check in at the Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport. If you encounter any problems during your stay please contact one of the committee members: Debbie at 086 8034165, Marian 086 2736762 or Declan 086 2652588.

9pm Welcome Drinks and Buffet in ALSAA Sports complex. Take the shuttle bus outside the Hotel and ask the driver to leave you off at the ALSAA building. This is just a 5-minute walk and weather permitting you may wish to walk up. Enjoy and few drinks and finger food and catch up with some old badminton friends. Anyone who wishes to dance the night away can take a short taxi ride to Velvet Night Cub in the Carnegie Court Hotel in Swords or Tamango’s Nite club in Malahide

Saturday 22nd September 2007
8.30am – 9.00am Take the hotel shuttle bus to the ALSAA complex.
9.00am - 5.15pm The tournament will be a team event. There will be 7/8 in a team and everyone will get a chance to play doubles and mixed doubles.
1.00pm - 2.00pm Lunch may be purchased in the bar upstairs, which will be opened from 11.45. If you are going to the bar, sports bags are not permitted and must be left in the room to the side of the reception desk. However, you may bring your rackets to the bar and we would advise that you do.

Drinks / Fruit will be available throughout the day in the room at the back of the hall.

8pm Sharp The Gala Dinner & Disco Collinstown Suite in the Carlton Hotel: After dinner, there will be the presentation of prizes. Then its time to dance the night away (if you have any energy left)!!!

Sunday 23rd September 2007
The shuttle bus will take you up to the airport to tie in with your return fight. We hope you have enjoyed yourself and wish you a safe journey home.
